Committees

Gradient has many committees for members to get involved in! If you want to take a more active role in Gradient please consider joining a committee. Contact the committee chair head for more information on how to get involved!

Media Committee

Chair: 

This committee is in charge of keeping the website and all other media utilized by Gradient up to date. This committee helps to showcase what our organization has done, is currently doing, and future endeavors.

Planning Committee

Chair: Wilson Raney

This committee is in charge of planning all events (except for Valloween) that Gradient host. This includes but is not limited to recurring events such as our monthly coffee hour, our general member meetings, and volunteer oppourtunities. This committee is also in charge of events that Gradient co-host with other organizations of campus such as the Gender Relations Center.

Academic / Professional Development Committee

Chair: 

This committee is in charge of coordinating with administration and academic departments to promote LGBTQ-specific resources and events for academic and professional development.

Valloween Committee

Chair: Kate Ruley Haase

This committee is in charge of planning one of our biggest events of the year; Valloween! What's Valloween? It's the perfect fusion of love and spooky (Valentine's Day and Halloween). Come dressed up to fit the theme and socialize with members of the graduate community.
